Who writes it
Bryan Fawcett — author and editor
Bryan writes and edits most of this guide. He is the founder and CEO of Nyuchi Africa, a Zimbabwean technology company, and founder of The Bundu Foundation. He started Zimbabwe Travel Information to give travellers one trustworthy, up-to-date place to plan a Zimbabwe trip, and to make sure local voices are the ones answering their questions.
How we keep it accurate
- Practical pages are dated. Visa rules, fees, currency arrangements and safety advice change often in Zimbabwe. Practical pages show when they were last reviewed and link to the official source.
- We check official sources. These include the Department of Immigration’s e-visa portal, ZimParks, and the US, UK and Australian travel advisories.
- We correct mistakes quickly. If something is wrong or out of date, tell us and we will fix it.
Become a contributor
If you live in Zimbabwe and know a place, a route or a subject well, you can write for the guide. Contributors apply, submit and track their work through the Nyuchi contributor platform.Apply to contribute
Create an account on platform.nyuchi.com to apply, then submit pages and follow them through review.
How the guide is funded
The guide is free to read and published under a Creative Commons licence. It is supported in two ways, and we label both wherever they appear:- Bookings. When you plan a trip through one of our booking partners, such as our premium partner Moses Adventures, that referral supports the guide. Booking links are labelled as partner links or appear on our booking page.
- The verified business directory. Lodges, operators and other businesses are listed and verified through Mukoko Kweli.
